India and its overflowing energy, its vibrations, its freneticism... Marie Pidancet, passionate about travelling the world, was amazed by this expansive country. Upon her return to France, she had an idea: to create an accessible fashion brand inspired by the aesthetics of India. In 2012, she founded Louise Misha, a French brand for kids' ready-to-wear. To help her in her project, she partnered with her longtime friend, Claire Moulin, who was willing to join the adventure. Louis Misha is a bohemian-chic brand, with a bit of romanticism, inspired by the many trips taken by the pair of friends who founded it. In 2016, Marie and Claire decided to grow their label, releasing collections for women, and the following year, launching items for babies from 3-months old. For the production of its clothing, Louise Misha works with partner ateliers in India, staffed by women. The designers often select floral prints and vintage embroidery and they also work with Portugal for the production of socks and tights; knitwear; jersey and fleece. Aiming towards sustainable fashion, Louis Misha uses high-quality materials like wool, mohair, knits, cotton, silk, viscose, polyester, denim and linen. Today, the brand's collections are made of 60% organic materials with low environmental impact. The brand offers houseware, swimwear and lingerie, releasing stylish items for every season. Fans of the brand love its iconic flowy blouse, knit jumper and wide-legged jean to elevate any look.
