Overlooked by the public for a long time, Scandinavia, nevertheless, has a vast talent of creativity. From Baum und Pferdgarten to Saks Potts, through Ganni, Rotate and Cecilie Bahnsen, there's no shortage of exceptional designers in northern Europe. One more name to look out for? Annika Inez. Far from being the new girl on the block, this Swede from Malmö founded her brand, in the early 2000s. Although her mother, who had been a designer in New York in the '60s, always encouraged her to express her artistic talent, she didn't immediately start out in jewellery design. After studying Interior Design at Parson's New School of Fashion in New York, she produced a shoe collection before spending a year exploring the West Coast of America. Finally settling in New York, she launched into jewellery design, creating pieces with a minimalist silhouette and an assertive feminine style. 14-carat gold, silver and blown glass were the main components of her jewellery creations, cleverly harmonising Scandinavian aesthetics with New York influences. For the Spring-Summer 2018 collection, the designer decided to change her label's name, making it a self-titled brand.
For the Spring-Summer 2020 season, Annika Inez once again brings us exceptional pieces with timeless allure. Each blown glass element within her earrings, necklaces and bracelets is unique, both in shape and shade. By contrast, gold and silver jewellery designs have both a simple yet sophisticated style, authentic yet always displaying great sensitivity. Elegant and versatile, Annika Inez pieces are the ideal arty touch to any look. How to dazzle in an elegant way.> View more
