Behind this innovative idea is Chrystelle Lannoy, whose passion for stones was passed on by her grandfather, an antique dealer. More than ten years of experience within international cosmetic groups, combined with intuition, prompted her to create her own brand of mineral skincare. Partnering with laboratory researchers solidified her concept that minerals do indeed possess numerous clinically effective virtues. The Gemology philosophy was then set and could be summarized in three words: prevent, repair and protect. An innovative technology was developed, allowing for the liquefaction, extraction and stabilization of trace elements from gemstones from around the world. These are ground into an impalpable talc and integrated into the creamy or liquid formulas of the cosmetic care products. Iron, magnesium, copper, sapphire and malachite stimulate collagen synthesis, regulate sebum secretion and fight free radicals. For each need, Gemology created a suitable care product with unique textures offering varied sensations during application.
