As a child, Alexandre Vauthier was an avid Vogue reader and constantly sketched his surroundings. After being unsure about what career to pursue, he decided to fulfil his childhood dream by enrolling at a fashion school in Bordeaux. Originally from Agen, the designer soon moved to Paris. There, he worked for Thierry Mugler and then Jean-Paul Gaultier as a head designer, allowing him to establish a solid network of luxury designers. These important connections helped him when he established his own design house in 2009.
To keep in tune with women's needs, the designer delved deep into their lives to understand their needs and motivations. As a result, sensual pieces, draped lavishly in flattering cuts, were admired by the press, couture enthusiasts and celebrities all over the world. Evocative of the vast range of clients he dresses; from Brigitte Macron to Madonna, the designer strives to craft unique and fierce works of art, such as crystal-studded cocktail dresses and gold-zipped biker jackets. Renowned for his gift of accentuating femininity, Alexandre Vauthier is known for his clear-cut lines and luxury numbers, promising the glamorous look of your dreams.
